Federal High Court orders the release of Sambo Dasuki’s passport

The federal High Court Abuja has asked the Federal Government and the Department of State Security Services, DSS to release the passport of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki.


Mr Dasuki is going for medical treatment abroad.
On Monday, the 24 of August, 2015, he was arraigned on a one count charge for illegal possession of firearm.
Taking  his passport was one of the bail conditions.

The prosecutor however brought another charge. This time something hazily  bothering on possession of foreign currencies.

 After hearing the prosecution and defense, the presiding judge, Adeniyi Ademola, said the prosecution failed to show valid  reasons why the document should not be released.
