Chalabi Dies: Many Are Happy

Ahmed Chalabi, Iraqi secular Shia politician dies at 71. He was found in his home in Baghdad. Doctors say,he died of a heart attack.

Mr Chalabi would be best remembered as the man who persuaded the United States to attack Saddam Huisein. He provided information about Saddam possessing Weapons of Mass Destruction.

At the time, the world still had a lot of sympathy for America because of the attacks of September 11, 2001.



Chalabi, a Saddam hater and seen as a possible replacement, should he fall did not like the ending of the war. Or the lack of an ending.

The "allies" divided up Iraq. Mr Chalabi watch helplessly as he didn't become the county's version of Hameed Kazai.

Chalabi's information was also, well, a lie. No WMD.

Those happy that he is dead are many.
Saddam's Ba'at people,ISIL and even some people in the West who blame George W.Bush's miscalculation on him.

Many also blame him for ISIL.

Ahmed Abdel Hadi Chalabi was an Iraqi politician. He was interim Minister of Oil in Iraq in April–May 2005 and December 2005–January 2006 and Deputy Prime Minister from May 2005 to May 2006.
