Just as Vigilantes help soldiers to push back some insurgent in Yola,Wednesday, the terror group opened fire as they fled from attacks by the army and the vigilante in Maiuguri
The army says it killed about 150 terrorists in Yola yesterday.
In recent weeks, while the army gave press statements, Boko Haram carried out actual attacks.
Yesterday's shootings was a shift from the groups tactics. Since September 20, Boko Haram has mainly used bombs.
The army, it would seem,is taking the battle more seriously.
