The Elections Petitions Tribunal in Akwa Ibom state, yesterday ordered a rerun of the April 11 Governorship elections.
The Judge cited cases of "observed irregularities in 18 Local Government Areas .So fresh elections shall be held in the affected areas".
Since April, the APC, that won less than 5 percent of the votes has been harassing the new governor.
Some weeks ago, The Directorate Of State Security, DSS,raided the office of the governor without reason.
The state, like all other South- South States,is a stronghold of the PDP
