Say Hello to Sony Xperia Miro and Xperia Tipo

Two new entry-level Android devices were just announced from Sony. The Xperia Tipo and Xperia Tipo Dual are now official. Both devices feature Android 4.0, 3.2 inch scratch resistant display and a 3.2MP camera. There’s also a 1500mAh battery, Wi-Fi and it will be available in red, blue and black. The Xperia Tipo Dual features a dual-SIM setup. It will be available globally sometime in Q3.

Xperia miro is slim and stylish, available in a fun range of colours with deep Facebook integration throughout including in contacts, photo gallery and the music player, plus Sony’s xLOUD audio technology for crisp and loud sound.

Xperia tipo is easy to use enabling you to get the most from your smartphone – whether  it be browsing the web, sharing pictures or downloading apps. Xperia tipo will also be available in a dual SIM version – Xperia tipodual – giving you the chance to switch between tariffs with just one touch to stay on the most cost effective plan.

Both smartphones will launch on the latest Android software, Ice Cream Sandwich and will start shipping globally in Q3 2012.
