Senate Approves $200m Loan For Lagos From World Bank

Barely an hour after president Mohammad Buhari asked the senate to approve a loan of 2.10 tr.Naira, Lagos State government has got its nod to borrow $200 million.



Senator Kabiru Gaya( APC kano South) said the Senate has " read the report of the ad hoc committee on Local and Foreign loans for special  approval of Lagos State Development Policy Operation( DPO) loan budget support of $200 million.

Remi Tinubu, supported. She said the loan will go a long way in  helping  the people of lagos State.
