I hate to call this entertainment because it is not. Jojo’s family have announced that her father, Joe Levesque has died at the age of 60. The 24-year-old ‘Baby Its You” and “Leave (Get Out)” singer took to Instagram to express her love and sadness in the form of a letter to her dad. She also posted a photo of her and her dad when she was a little girl.
"I missed you even while you were here. I will miss you infinitely more now that you're gone. Thank you for holding on as long as you did. I know you tried your best. You are free now."
"I will love you always, Dad. I can feel you with me. Rest now. In PEACE. I miss your voice. I wish more people could have heard it. I promise I will keep singing for you," she wrote.
Jojo had just gotten herself out of an awful record deal with Background Records signed when she was 12 years old, and into a brand new record deal with Atlantic Records. She’s been working on a new album and now this tragedy. We hope she channels all of this sadness into a great album. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family
