What makes Nigeria great is not our government but the people, the culture and the spirit of
resilience. That believe in the fact that things will change for the better. Strong hope in the unknown.
So far we have managed to build a couple of sectors without much input from the government.
The entertainment industry, nollywood and Nigeria music can now compete with any other industry across the globe. The technology space is gradually picking up especially in the e-commerce and Internet startups. With the likes of Konga and jumia building their infrastructure including a delivery system that was non existence.

we have managed to achieve all these and more without government help or patronage.
My point is I wonder why a lot of people tie there success around the government.
We can build most of our successses around our population, that's if you are very creative. We can also disrupt existing systems and create the ones we want.
A great example is Uber . There is no city that they have gone to that there is no riot or litigation. But they have succeeded in getting people thinking that we need a new Taxi system across the globe. We have to create disruptors who can change systems. That way change can be guaranteed faster as the government are offered less options.
