Majeck shot to fame and glory in late 80s with his hit song, Send Down The Rain. At some point he was compared to Bob Marley because of his soulful voice.
After several run-ins with producer, Tabansi Music, he became a free agent.
Majek was rumoured to have begun experimentIng with pharmaceuticals in America.
Soon, his lyrics, which were at his height not exactly poetry, began to regress to confusion of words
Majek Fashek is now completely destitute as he battles alcohol and drugs.
It is painful to look at him now if one new him when he was a household name.
