By definition, all wines are alcoholic.
No because Nigerians refuse to accept it but because it is so.
Now,Pastors in Nigeria,and do they have them,like all successful corporations ,do not tell their customers the truth.At least,not the whole truth.
Consider,for instance,how ridiculous a self-righteous pastor would sound to his faithful worshippers if he told them that the first miracle Jesus performed was turning water to alcoholic drink(wine)at a wedding.He'd be a hypocrite if he preached against drinking.
Now,the pastor is not exactly bothered about his followers' drinking habits. Again, like all good business people,he doesn't want his customers to take the money some place else.
And so,when the so called communion service is advertised and attended,and the "Man of God" serves some fluffy-flaky bread and coloured drink without alcohol,it is a mockery.
And I am sure I often hear the pastors say that God is not mocked.
And at the last supper ,Jesus said,raising the cup" this is my body...
" In a similar way," This is my blood"
..Do this in memory of me.
Bread and wine.!
