Google is been launching new products lately, and the latest is the new Google Bar
Google is rolling out a new iteration of that black bar, dubbed the Google bar, that currently lives on top of all your Google apps. The updated version gets rid of the black background, but integrates Google+ and the search box into the same section of screen real estate as each webapp's logo (as opposed to pushing it into a bar at the top of the screen). To switch between Google apps, you'll have to hover over the current app icon and select other apps from the drop-down.
It's hardly life changing, but the big thing the change does is bring Google+ front, center, and integrated even more directly with the rest of your Google apps. For some, that might be refreshing; for others, annoying. But Google's clearly into this whole Google+ thing. We're not seeing it yet, but like most Google rollouts of this kind, you can likely expect it in a browser near you within the next few days.
Instead of the horizontal black bar at the top of the page, you’ll now find links to your services in a new drop-down Google menu nested under the Google logo. We’ll show you a list of links and you can access additional services by hovering over the “More” link at the bottom of the list. Click on what you want, and you’re off.
